South Suburban PADS launched the development of its new Gateway to Helping Others Potentially Excel (HOPE) Program. This new program combines some of PADS most successful supportive service programs with PADS newest Daytime programs. By combining the resources of these programs, South Suburban PADS is establishing a new approach to the delivery of supportive services for persons who are homeless. PADS Homeless Healthcare Network Providing primary medical care in a free-clinic setting. The HHN is a collaborative response from public and private healthcare providers, educational institutions and medical professionals to meet the growing and complex needs of the homeless. PADS Homeless Prevention Program This program partners with other social service agencies, the clergy and congregations of area faith communities to identify individuals and families who may become homeless as a result of a personal crisis. By reaching out to these families, the HPP's goal is to provide them with a wide range of early intervention services so they may avoid becoming homeless.
